B.A.’s Whimsy Wear ~ made to inspire light spirits and happy hearts. This pink, blue and seafoam green, crochet warrior fringe hat is part of the Warrior Series and is another original BA design.  The Warrior Series Hats take longer than the witches hats (you would think I would be designing quicker things but no)  Now I know why wigs are so expensive,  I can’t imagine doing this with hair. This hat has over 1,000 pieces of yarn hand knotted into the crown!!  At this time, my warrior hat designs require three different yarns. 

Obviously, ANYONE who enjoys whimsy can wear this hat, it is so fun and whimsical.  However, I want to put together a series of hats that will be perfect for Chemo patients. Many times, a patient will experience hyper skin sensitivity while undergoing chemo. For optimum comfort to the patient, I use only the softest yarn and form the hats a tad larger. 

I have been asked by several folks, to design something comfortable and fun for these warriors. I hope my work will put a little bit of happiness and whimsy into their lives during this trying time in their history.
